Bokam's award winning force measurement product line consists of a solid stainless steel sensor body/diaphragm and an elaborate miniature network of conductive steel imbedded strain sensitive materials arranged in a full bridge architecture with each axis having its own bridge network. Unlike conventional strain gauge based designs these products are based on Bokam's proprietary technology that allows us to embed the strain sensitive materials onto the steel surface without the use of organic materials such as epoxies. The construction of the sensors is such that it is by its design sealed from the environments and the only surface that comes in contact with the outside works is the stainless steel surface itself.

Pressure Sensors

The elastic nature of the steel surface and the absence of a bond or glue line between the strain sensitive materials and stainless steel surface yield a virtually indestructible device that does not require re-calibration for the life of the OEM system after initial installation

The pressure diaphragms and sensors are available in a variety of substrate materials including Hastelloy/Incanel, sapphire, ceramic, and stainless steel.

Due to the high gage factor produced by Bokam's strain measurement method the pressure sensors can be used without amplification while maintaining a high mV level signal at temperatures up to 500F.

Both fully integrated sensors with and without amplification are available along with custom diaphragms and pressure fittings.
